This 11x14 or 16x20 black & white photograph was taken on February 18, 1964, a ferociously mugging Muhammad Ali (then still known as Cassius Clay) putting some mock whoop-ass on the four Beatles, who good-naturedly oblige by cowering before the fighter. It was definitely an encounter between two ambitious, promising forces who were about to conquer their respective worlds.
- PLEASE NOTE: that photos from this period have the vintage blurred look of bygone days of sports photography. All of which adds to the classic feel of this great piece of Sports Art and make this a stunning piece that is sure to get a big reaction.
- Part of our unsigned Engraved Series, an affordable alternative to expensive athlete celebrity and includes an exclusive inset plate with laser-engraved facsimiles of Muhammad Ali and ALL of the Fab Four's autographs, along with George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon's signature Inset Plate.
