Mariano played 19 seasons in the MLB, all with the Yankees. Nicknamed "Mo" and "Sandman", he was 13x All-Star and 5x WS champion, a MLB's career leader in saves (652) and games finished (952), won 5 AL Rolaids Relief Man Awards, and finished in the top three in voting for the AL Cy Young Award four times. Yeah he was pretty good. So good that he was the last man to wear the #42, Jackie Robinson's number that has been retired by Major League Baseball. There will not be another player with that number.
